DESIGN IV STUDIOS

I have busted out a ton of new art revolving around the BUTTERFLY DIARIES and HORROR PUNX. This coming year is going to be truly crazy with the arrival of my first child.  I will not be at any COMICON this summer but hopfully next fall. I will be doing a lot between now and APRIL or MAY. My expectations for 2012 are huge and at the same time very conservative. You see some new faces and some old friends from the DESIGN IV universe. The site will also have more information and be updated a little more regularly. I hope to see you at upcoming appearences!

I was really optimistic for 2011 a year ago. We didn't do a lot mainly because of life throwing things at you. I redirected and took some time away from drawing and writing for a few months I cancelled some appearances and took sometime to spend with family and friends. Now I am an expecting father. I am not sure where that leaves me for appearances in the upcoming year. I may have an abundence of material in the up coming year we will have to see

2011 promises to be a good year for us. WE are entering the year with a brand new series and with lots of goodies to with it! It is my hope that this year I will be able to take part in some events that are directed towards families and we can reach out to a nw market. I know the first part of the year will yield a coloring book to support the Butterfly Diaries series. My brain has been going in overdrive lately wondering about the content of what I write and publish.  I posed this question to myself: Would I let my nieces and nephews read my books or comics? Well my nephews have read the Lollipop Kids comics and I did base them off of them. But my story line was based on an asylum and the truth be known I wasn't comfortable with that anymore. So I look over at Nikki and told her it was time I released "The Butterfly Diaries". I wrote this issue years ago and never released because it didn't fit with anything I was doing. I don't think was ever meant to. This book is directed at kids and is something that most families would have no problem with letting there kids read. This whole change my have people who know me in a state of shock but it is just as simple as I want to release somethng a little more. Thats it alittle more!
