JOEL SHUGART JR.
Joel is a writer and self taught artist. Joel has attacked projects with a determination and vision that very few would attempt. In June 2008 "The Lollipop Kids" - Issue #1 (THE BIRTH OF FEAR) was released in limited addition and sold out in only two days. In September issue #2 (REALITY IS EVIL)was released on dvd only, the printed version followed just a month later. The following spring Joel released "The Lollipop Kids TWISTED". This was a side issue with art from his nephews Chan and Aussie, the inspiration for the series. Joel had beed working on a poetry book called "NOISE" which compiled writings spanning over fifteen years. This book spoke volumes about the writer because this book was personal. Poems that were written in very dark times and were a huge part of the man that he is today. Joel also is accomplished in the world of art. His painting can be found at several regional galleries at almost any time.
